We often feature the image of an intimidating, closed door to make a point: this is how life looks for lots of your employees. They have problems, burdens, challenges–and crises–and the door to engaging, resolving, or even just assessing their obstacles seems tightly shut.
These problems become your problem, too. Your people can’t leave them in the office parking lot, as much as they may try. Their life challenges find their way to cubicles, company cars, and job sites. They affect employees’ homes and families, and are eventually absorbed by their coworkers and your organization itself.
Resource Employee Care exists to provide a proactive and effective avenue to overcome these challenges. Want better employees and a better resulting business? We do, too, and we are ready to get to work and see this become your reality.
How We Do It
Our Care Providers are always working on solutions. Maybe the employee’s choices bring a difficult situation or season into his or her life. Or someone else’s bad decision has perhaps impacted them. Sometimes life is just life. It can be full of challenging times, whether they are comprised of small or nagging problems, an obvious crisis, or anything in between.
Through this, REC Providers find themselves assisting in situations such as:
Hospital and hospice visitation
Death or dying matters
Court appearances and support
City, county and state resource referrals
Pathways through illness
Guidance in discovering purpose and worth
Funeral officiation and guidance
Premarital counseling (nominal fee charged)
Referrals to counselors or mental health professionals
CLIENTS (AND COUNTING)
CALLS, TEXTS, EMAILS, SOCIAL MEDIA
VISITS TO HOSPITALS, COURT, WEDDINGS, FUNERALS
DEDICATED COMMUNITY WORKS
Confidentiality: Confidentiality is vital in developing trust and assuring that, aside from (1) a threat of violence, or (2) child abuse, everything shared goes nowhere else.
Permission: Everything REC does is done with permission only. Each employee’s participation in the program is completely voluntary.
Respect: Every person is foundationally worthy of care.
